It's a perfect late-summer Saturday for great music by the water. The 6th Annual Bridgeport Jazz Festival returns today, Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seaside Park Bandshell in Bridgeport, and best of all, it's free and all ages.
A Day of Live Jazz at Seaside Park
This year's festival moves to the gorgeous Seaside Park Bandshell, giving you sweeping views of Long Island Sound while you listen. It's the kind of free community event that brings families, neighbors, and music lovers together for an afternoon and evening of celebration. Pack a blanket or lawn chair, bring the kids, and settle in for some of the region's best live jazz.
This Year's Lineup
Festival organizers have put together a fantastic lineup for the sixth edition, including:
- Kersten Stevens, the "Queen of the Violin," bringing her dazzling showmanship to the bandshell stage.
- Randan Steward, the "Queen of Radio," keeping the energy high between sets.
- The Keynotes Jazz Band, a crowd favorite delivering timeless jazz favorites.
- The Soulful Sax Trio, diving deep into the emotive, groovesome side of jazz.
- The Major Ensemble, rounding out the lineup with a full-band celebration of jazz classics.
Along with live performances, expect a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the diverse musical culture of Fairfield County and beyond.
