Welcome to the October issue! Autumn has arrived, and New Haven is at its most beautiful: forecasts put peak foliage in the New Haven corridor around October 14-20, just in time for Open Studios New Haven, which fills the city with art all month long. Yale Family Weekend brings Dartmouth to the Bowl on October 10, the 35th Annual James Barber 5K returns to Edgewood Park on October 24, and Halloween closes out the month in style. On the market side, prices are up about 11% from a year ago with inventory still tight, so if you're thinking about buying or selling this fall, reach out and let's talk. Open Studios New Haven
Running October 1 to November 1 across the city. More than 100 artists open their studios, with Fair Haven, East Rock, and Westville neighborhood weekends through the month.
Yale Family Weekend
Saturday, October 10. Dartmouth visits the Yale Bowl for a noon kickoff on ESPNU, with Family Day events across campus all weekend.

Forecasts put peak color in the New Haven corridor around October 14-20, with the shoreline turning late in the month. East Rock summit and West Rock Ridge are the classic overlooks.
